Magical Disney Memories Mickey-shaped Acrylic Album

Digital Scrapbooking 101
"Clueless to Glueless"

This series will take you through a general Photoshop Elements overview and include everything you need to get you started with digital scrapbooking and image editing. Follow along on your laptop (optional) using Photoshop Elements (required). Classes will build on each other so they need to be taken in sequence. Classes will begin with a general overview of Photoshop Elements including importing photos, quick fixing photos, and understanding layers. You will then begin playing with photos, fixing color, removing red eye, improving exposures, and using some of the cool features in PSE. By the end of the series, you will be repairing and retouching, cropping, combining multiple photos, blending, erasing, use of the healing tool and cloning tool and many more! Techniques of Stamping

One of the hottest trends right now is clear stamps!  This class will offer valuable tips and tricks for using and caring for clear stamps while teaching popular stamping techniques.  Along with having finished layouts and usable smaller samples, each student will keep their stamp set!

What is scrapbooking? Why should I scrapbook? How do I get started? This class will orient the beginner to the importance of the hobby of scrapbooking.  This class will inspire you to create a scrapbook.

Matting

Matting is one of the most spectacular techniques for making photos stand out on your scrapbook page.  Enhancing a photo with a mat adds interest and excitement to the image.   Create up to 7 projects for your binder.

Which tools are the most important? How are these tools used? The proper use and benefits of craft tools are discussed and demonstrated in depth.

Stickers

You will learn sticker techniques to get your stickers out of your collections on to your scrapbook pages - from cutting and trimming to layering or adding dimension. Create over 10 sticker projects in this class.

Journaling

Pictures do not tell a thousand words! Don't miss this important class about the profound impact of adding words to a scrapbook page. This class will teach writing basics that will assist in completing pages with journaling.

Lettering

Lettering on your scrapbook pages should be fun. You will learn how to relax and enjoy writing in your scrapbook.  Have fun practicing with a range of different pen tips.

In this class, you will learn that photographs, journaling, titles, enhancements, color, line, lettering and shape are the building blocks of scrapbook design. Patterned Paper

In the SDU® Color Class, you learned the basics of color, value and intensity. You learned how to create effortless color combinations. We are now going to take that foundation of color theory and apply your newly acquired knowledge to working with patterned paper.

Embellishment Savvy

Embellishments will inspire you to turn plain designs into one-of-a-kind keepsakes. In Layout Design, you learned the basics of creating a well-designed layout. In this class, you will learn how to use embellishments to strengthen a layout design and reinforce the content of the photos. You will develop an ability to view a basic layout as a black canvas for your embellishing creativity!

DISNEY

Whether you are planning a trip to Disney or are longing to scrapbook Disney memories from the past, this Mickey & Friends class is a sure way to get your "Magical Memories" into an album.  In this class, you will create ten 8x8 scrapbook pages with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donalds.  You will also receive an idea book with never-been-published memory album ideas all in an 8x8 format.  We hope to "see you real soon"!

Punches

 In the SDU® Punch Class we discussed the important tools for punch art, how to take care of punches and the basic techniques for punch art. You are now ready to build on those basic skills and learn more advanced punching techniques. In this SDU® Methods Advanced Punches class you will learn how to get the most t out of your Paper Shapers punches using exciting punch techniques featuring the CornerAdorner ® styles. You will make many different projects that you will be able to recreate later with all your paper crafting projects.
